JNU Recruitment 2014 / Jawaharlal Nehru University popularly known as JNU has issued a notice for the recruitment of candidates against the posts of Deputy Registrar, Section Officer and Personal Assistants in their university campus in Delhi. Jawaharlal Nehru University is one of the premier universities in India located in the heart of India – Delhi. JNU is a public central university and is ranked at no. 2 position amongst all the public universities in India as ranked by India Today. Its a golden opportunity for all the interested candidates who wish to join this premier university of India. A total of 24 vacancies has been announced by the university for JNU recruitment 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. Deputy Registrar-

Candidates applying for the post of Deputy Registrar in the university should posses a Master’s degree with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. As far as experience is concerned the candidate should have 9 years of experience as assistant professor or comparable experience in research establishment or 5 years of experience as an Assistant Registrar. There is a 5% relaxation in Master’s degree marks for SC/ST/PH candidates or candidates already working in the university.

2. Section Officer-

Candidates applying for the post of Section Officer in JNU should posses a university degree, at least 5 years of relevant experience and computer operating knowledge.

3. Personal Assistant-

Candidates applying for the post of Personal Assistant in JNU should be 10+2 pass with short hand efficiency of 120 wpm and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a stenographer. The candidate should know how to operate a computer. The candidates for this post have to go through some test papers before interview. The papers are – General English, General Knowledge, Stenography test at a speed of 100wpm for 10 minutes, Stenography test at a speed of 120 wpm for 5 minutes.

Age Limits-

1. Deputy Registrar – max. 45 years

2. Section Officer – max. 40 years

3. Personal Assistant – max. 35 years
